::Waves to everyone:: Hi! Sheri has been positively amazing to me this past year and a half, helping me keep the writing dream alive as I deal with post divorce and so many other things. I hope you all are buying her books and giving her some review love. Her writing is fun and quick, and she is always looking to improve her craft. She has graciously been sharing my wide and varied books with you. Today, we’re doing my steampunk line. I only have a few at this time, and that’s because they are my “just for fun” line. I pretty much write what I want, but this is probably my favorite because I can integrate my love for Victorian and gadgets and really have some play on it. As always, the books have an underlying theme of justice. That is my true branding. Not genre, not lawful. But justice…just not always in the traditional sense. Unfortunately, I have to spend the bulk of my time on the series that make the most money, so some of my more fun genres like steampunk romance have to take a back seat. But I still write them. I write what I read…which is everything! I love to read. I’ve loved it since I was about 10 years old, newly adopted, and my new aunt handed me The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and I managed to get my grubby, pre-teen hands on my new mom’s Agatha Christie. Is it any wonder that with that mash up to start my reading journey that I don’t stick to one sort of writing? What are some of your favorite genre mashups? For me, mystery/suspense/thriller with just about any other genre has my thumbs up! This weekend will be hard for many people for many reasons. With coming out of COVID just starting to be a thing, we’re all going to be a little bit raw emotionally. Everyone be safe out there and enjoy at least one good book this weekend! Penny Wise is tired of having her every move monitored by the king and queen and their guards, especially when there was only one who turned all her knobs. But running away when you are a princess of the realm proves harder than she likes , especially when the only person to hold your heart or obedience is the one to find you. Can she convince her parents to allow her to have the one she loves, or will they force her to marry for duty? That plan changes when she meets the charming William Powell. However, things are not as they seem. William is more than a business man, and her father has more than a business trip in mind. While on a traincoach trip to evaluate the track lines and different traincoach stations, Victoria and William endure unsettling times and don't know where to turn when things turn ugly. They need to find out who is trying to kill Victoria. William has secrets, secrets that can both help and hinder the investigations. Can the high king bail him out, or would he be left hanging to deal with Victoria's family alone? The only thing he cared about was protecting Victoria and convincing her he wasn't one of her father's tools. Can he do it in time? This story is part of a planned serial in an alternative steampunked universe.
