I am so happy that today is the release of my fantasy novella Port Stone: Dangers of the Swamp! I am so excited to be writing more fantasy and there will be two more Port Stone novellas out by fall of this year! If you like strong female characters or classic fantasy, Port Stone is the series for you! Book 1 is only .99 cents for the ebook! Link: mybook.to/PortStoneDangersSwamp Tianna and Kara each came to Port Stone by request of their respective Orders to help an unknown elf, Phinelope. She never shows at the appointed meeting place, so they go in search of her only to find Phinelope murdered and more secrets than answers in this strange town. Never ones to let the murder of a woman go with no consequences, they take it upon themselves to avenge her death and find themselves becoming more involved in the mysteries of Port Stone than either of them ever intended. Join Tianna and Kara in this female led fantasy of danger, lies, and unanswered questions. Here’s a little excerpt:
A quick perusal of the pub showed that Phinelope had not yet arrived. In fact, no women were in the place other than the serving girl. As expected, everyone stared despite her hood being up. The serving wench came over and reluctantly took her order, walking away before Tianna had a chance to ask about Phinelope. The wench returned with her drink, dumped it on the table, grabbed the coin, and said nothing. Tianna felt that elves really were not received well here in Port Stone, though she had no idea why. In towns and villages, her kind were always treated with respect. Why were things so different here in this city? Deciding that it didn’t matter, she let her hood down, her dark green eyes flashing at those who stared even more openly at her. Before she could ponder for too long, the door opened and another female came in. A tall, redheaded and striking human woman looked around, her blue eyes squinting to see in the dimness. She, too, stood out being all in armor and carrying a large Warhammer. Tianna immediately felt a kinship to this newcomer. She spotted Tianna and headed towards her. “Phinelope?” she asked. “No, my name is Tianna, I had hoped that you were Phinelope, though I had assumed she, too, to be an elf. I am here to meet her as well. Please, sit, we can wait together.” Glad to have company that didn’t seem to stare at her with distrust just because of her race. Nodding, the human sat, extending her hand, “My name is Kara, the priest to whom I owe my life sent me here to meet an elf named Phinelope and to help her in whatever mission she had.” “An Elder of my Order gave me very similar commands but not many details. How very strange.” “Indeed. This must be something important if the Druids and the Clerics are both involved. Who exactly is this Phinelope?” Kara asked as she signaled for an ale to the passing server.

As a religious exile who fled her community only to land in LA, Genevieve couldn’t be greener. Armed with a list of experiences she’s eager to live, she’s diving headfirst into the choppy waters of normal society. Then she meets Cobra. There’s nothing normal about the resident gym bad boy who struts around like he could undress her with his eyes alone. And he goes by Cobra. Cobra knows better than to believe in blessings. Snagging this stable job at Holt Body Fitness is the only break of luck he’s had since his life took a nosedive as a teen, but it’s just a matter of time before this goes downhill too. Which is why when ultra-innocent Gen stumbles onto his bleak path, he’s eager for the distraction provided by the oblivious bombshell. He can help her live her list—but only so far. Because Cobra’s only good at being temporary. They both have lives they left far behind them. Setting three months to wade through Gen’s list of sins, the two of them plunge headfirst into something equals parts sizzling and intense. As Cobra inches nearer to securing his permanent spot at the gym, he comes even closer to a scary new reality. One that might be too good to be true. She inspires true feelings he’d thought lost to him after centuries on the run from a cruel and vindictive coven leader, Cassandra. This one was a hard one to write, but in the end I am very proud of it. All the blood, sweat, and tears that went into this work payed off in the end and I really hope that my readers agree. This is of course the long awaited sequel to my other Christmas novella, Not So Silent Night. Both stories are only .99 cents and free on Kindle Unlimited! They are a great way to treat yourself and steam up these chilly December nights! Link: mybook.to/VeryFriendlyBeasts And now how about an exclusive excerpt from Very Friendly Beasts? Mikhail sighed as he hailed a cab. Normally, he would want to lose himself in the women and men of Paris, but with the ever present face of his impending responsibility looming over him, he couldn’t even muster up the energy for a little naughtiness. No, he would find his fox first and insure the Gathering, and then maybe he could have let loose. Despite the task at hand and this being a trip of duty rather than leisure, it was hard not to admire the beauty of Paris all around him. After checking into his hotel, Mikhail had time to kill before going to a fashion gala where he might be able to corner his missing fox. He found himself wandering towards the Eiffel tower, loving how beautifully lit the structure was, the laughs coming from those skating on the ice rink there, the smells and sights from the little Christmas market that enticed him to shop for some Christmas gifts to take home. Yes, there really was no place like Paris. He only wished he could be sharing it with someone right now. “Next time I come to Paris, I will have chosen a mate,” he said to himself, not sure if that thought cheered or terrified him. I am so happy to announce that edits are done for Very Friendly Beasts and it will be out December 4! Next week! You can preorder it now though for only .99 cents! Link: mybook.to/VeryFriendlyBeasts Mikhail is only in Paris to finding the missing heir to the German fox clan so that he can return to Russia and celebrate his last Christmas of freedom. Soon the Gathering would be called and he would be forced to find a mate. However, things become much more interesting than expected when he meet Ellie. Not only is his missing fox fierce and gorgeous, there is a connection between them that neither of them can explain. Before they can explore what is going on between them though, Mikhail must help Ellie as she faced some darkness from her past. Courage, magic, and maybe even love will help them both on a journey to find the future that they deserve. Can Mikhail and Ellie overcome their pasts and trepidation about the future in order to truly find the Christmas spirit and so much more? Sequel to Not So Silent Night, though both books can be read as a standalone. |
