A couple weekends ago I was lucky enough to spend some time at Bubonicon, which is a fantasy and sci-fi based literary convention held every year in my hometown of Albuquerque. Now I had to work most of the weekend and didn't get to attend as many panels and talks as I would have liked, but it still did this author's heart good to be around so many authors and readers. I will be writing about some of the things that got me thinking from the con this coming week. I also had to opportunity to buy some books from some local authors, more books than I should have, but what can I say? I love books and love supporting local authors. I am thinking that if I have more fantasy and sci-fi books out next year that I really need to get a table and see how things go there. Anyways, here is the swag that I managed to pick up. Like I said I do love me some books.
So I have some very exciting news! I have been nominated as Best Local Author in the Alibi's Best of Burque issue here in Albuquerque! Talk about a shock and an honor. Voting is open through March 13! You can vote once a week too! I sure would love your vote!
