As I am planning out my writing for the rest of the year and my tentative releases for next year, I must say that I have entered a very fantasy and sci-fi heavy part of my writing career. Will there still be some romance? Of course, I have the two sequels to Quest for Redemption that I hope to have out next year and while those are fantasy novels they are pretty heavy on the romance. I hope to have about 6 more Gods Behaving badly books out between this year and next. But I also have some hard fantasy novels involving dragons and dragon bornes, and wizards that I want to work on. And I have an epic time travel novel that I have been wanting to write for a couple years now. Well I think that the time is now! I hope that my fans will follow me into these new genres, that they will enjoy the wild ride that I am about to take them and myself on!

I'm back with another book review! This time I am reviewing Zombie Infestation by LJ Bushman. This is a fast paced and thrilling ride that is sure to leave you shaken after you finish reading it. Zombies are among us, but they don't all resemble what we have come to expect. Some are damn smart and super dangerous before they start to decompose. Not many people know what is going on, one who does is Serena Rouge. A mother and author who also happens to be a zombie killer. Talk about a double life. Things get even more complicated when the government gets involved and some shady organization as well. I could not put this novella down. This is definitely a new take on zombies and I love the kick ass heroine that can take care of herself and then some. I am hoping for more of Serena in the future and recommend this book to horror and zombie lovers! 4.5 of 5 stars! Now I had to work most of the weekend and didn't get to attend as many panels and talks as I would have liked, but it still did this author's heart good to be around so many authors and readers. I will be writing about some of the things that got me thinking from the con this coming week. I also had to opportunity to buy some books from some local authors, more books than I should have, but what can I say? I love books and love supporting local authors. I am thinking that if I have more fantasy and sci-fi books out next year that I really need to get a table and see how things go there. Anyways, here is the swag that I managed to pick up. Like I said I do love me some books.
