Christmas is almost here and I have a steamy shifter short full of magic and more to help heat up a winter's night! Not So Silent Night is only .99 cents and free on Kindle Unlimited! Link: http://a.co/5E5BZMr Anna is a lonely woman, running her dead grandmother's flower shop. She hates Christmas and could not feel more lost when a handsome and mysterious Russian, Alexander, walks into her shop and her life. Each has secrets that they are harboring. Just as their passion erupts, the good old boys in town threaten to ruin everything. Getting to know each other is tough for most couples, adding in magic does not make it any easier. Now with a pack of werewolves out to destroy them, things become intense. They find themselves in a fight for their lives. Can their newfound love give them the strength to win against this threat and trust in the future?
Ebooks make great gifts and why not give a series of four steamy shorts this holiday season? Each one is only .99 cents and sure to heat up a winter's evening! Books 5 and 6 will be out early next year! Sophia longs for the days when she was worshiped as a goddess and celebrated for her glory. Now she hides in plain sight and does what she must to keep the lifestyle she is accustomed. She has never been close to discovery until one New York City Detective, Bruce Stoker, enters the picture. Now all that she is and has done could come out into the open and destroy everything. She should disappear, but there is something different about this man that draws her to him. *** Detective Bruce Stoker has never had an unsolved case, but there is something different about these art heists. Money is taken, but art is given to museums. Strange. If he can find the beautiful woman who seems to be the common link, then everything should be simple. That is what he thought at least until he met the gorgeous suspect in question. Only .99 cents and free on Kindle Unlimited. Buy Link: http://a.co/2tT4NX8 Sophia had fled New York and the feelings that a certain detective had stirred within her. Now she found herself alone in LA on New Year’s Eve, the former goddess of love reduced to having to look for a date. Hitting the Sunset Strip she finds the last thing she was looking for, but exactly who she was yearning for, Detective Bruce Stoker in the flesh. A night of passion leaves her with high hopes for the future, until an art heist threatens everything. Bruce had followed Sophia across the country in order to rekindle the passion he felt during their one night together and to get some much needed answers from her about who he really was, what her really was. Just when he thought he would get his answers, Bruce begins to wonder if he can truly trust Sophia at all. Only time and a mystery will tell. Only .99 cents and free on Kindle Unlimited. Unbeknownst to both of them a mysterious organization is lurking in the background and threatening to unravel the lives of all the gods on earth. Only .99 cents and free on Kindle Unlimited. Both are only .99 cents and free on Kindle Unlimited! Sara lives on Key Largo, a place she knows she should have left after the last hurricane but a place she can’t quite walk away from. When warning sirens go off she fears for the safety of her home more than anything else, that is until she realizes that something much more than severe weather is heading her way. When her own government blows up the only escape to the mainland and her neighbors begin to attack one another, Sara learns she can only depend on herself. With the help of her uncle and Cameron, a National Guard Soldier helping her along the way she is now on the run for her life. Harsh realities that she never thought she would have to face are now part of her life. Will she always be on the run and wondering what might have been? Link: http://a.co/cJboE5c Joy and Dot plan on having a summer to remember. A cabin on the beach, hot men from Harvard down the way, one last hurrah before true adulthood set in. Everything is perfect. They did not plan on their summer being interrupted by Joy’s sudden collapse in a strange room in their house, nor the mystery that surrounded it. As they look into their rental, horrifying details from the house’s past, mixed in with pirate lore of old, come to light. As more details emerge, they realize that more than their fun is at stake, that souls may hang in the balance. How can two sisters battle an evil that has haunted coastal Maine for hundreds of years?

A Crystal Angel is a short novella that is part of the larger Marsden Romance series by Dawn Brower. This book is a sweet (and naughty in some places) book perfect for the holiday season. Twins Liam and Lily cause quite a bit of drama when they hear that their father has betrothed his son to a complete stranger, even though Liam is only 14. To teach their father a lesson the twins cause some trouble and leaves their parents searching for them. Their parents Pia and Thor are at odds over Thor's decision, but some time alone in a carriage allows them time to kiss and make up. This is a fun and quick read about family drama at the holidays, isn't that something that we can all relate to? I give it 5/5 stars for fun and continuing the Marsden series! You can buy A Crystal Angel on Amazon. Here is another throwback webcomic based on my actual wedding planning last year. I am hoping to start a new webcomic in the coming year, so be on the look out. In the meantime, enjoy!
The holiday season is upon us and I happen to have a very steamy Christmas tale involving werebears and witchcraft that is sure to heat up a chilly winter's night! Not So Silent Night is available on Amazon and is only .99 cents or free on Kindle Unlimited! Want a little taste? She had almost finished cleaning up in back when she heard the bell on the door ring less than five minutes before closing. "Seriously? Can't people let me get out of here on time just one damn night?" she muttered to herself as she stormed toward the front so she could wait on her customer and then get the hell out of the store. Anna whipped around the corner in a huff, not caring if she scared the latecomer away. She stopped in her tracks and almost forgot what had pissed her off when she saw the customer in question. The most breathtaking back view of a man she had ever seen stood just inside the doorway, and her brain stopped working for the moment. Wow, who knew broad shoulders and a great rear could stop a woman in her tracks? While she gawked like an idiot, the man turned around and proved to be even more distracting from the front. This guy was like a wall of muscle, perfect body attached to a very masculine and handsome face with the deepest blue eyes Anna had ever seen. "Sorry, I know you are about to close, but I need a gift of flowers," he said when he saw Anna. He had a very thick eastern European accent that she thought might be Russian, which of course only made him hotter. She noticed his eyes taking her in, and she couldn't help but stand a little straighter, showing her curves off to her advantage while she absentmindedly ran her fingers through her long, wavy, raven hair, which most men seemed to love. It took Anna's brain a few moments to catch up before she could speak. Her previous anger and frustration vanished, replaced by eagerness to help this particular customer. "No problem at all. Do you have an idea of what kind of gift you are looking for? Is this for your girlfriend or wife?" Anna held her breath as she waited for this mystery man to answer, a bit annoyed with herself that she cared so much about what he might say. I have been dealing with a lot lately, from health issues and learning my new normal after my hysterectomy (hormones anyone?), to our car being broken into and made undrivable, to seeing less of my husband, and medical and car bills causing a lot of stress. This all has set off my anxiety and depression into overdrive. My mind is in a constant stage of stress.
So my main struggle of late has been to control the stress and to try to get out of this funk. I am looking for a part time job to ease some financial woes. I am trying to get back into meditation daily to deal with the anxiety and depression. And I am also spending a lot of time reading. I am escaping into worlds of fiction to allow me to deal with the real world. Sure, I could do this by writing as well, but writing has not been going too well lately. I am stuck. I can't seem to finish anything. Stress has my writing blocked, so reading is where my escapism is at the moment. This means that I will be posting a lot of reviews, from indie authors and mainstream authors as well. It gives me a chance to share books and writing, even if they aren't my books and writing. Though I have some rather new books and a couple Christmas themed shorts that I might be sharing with all of you this month. So keep looking for book reviews and feel free to give me suggestions on to what I should add to me To Read list. I am still working on catching up on some book reviews, here is another for one of my fave authors, Dawn Brower. If you are looking for a fast paced, swashbuckling read or listen then look no further than A Flawed Jewel by Dawn Brower. A feisty heroine is kidnapped by a sexy pirate with lots of secrets and that's when the sparks start to fly. There are more than a few surprises along the way that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I really enjoyed to listening to this story on Audible. I give it 5/5 stars. You can buy a copy of A Flawed Jewel on Amazon. |
