Another week another burger from the Bob's Burgers Cookbook! This week the hubby and I made the Sweaty Palms Burger. This burger called for shredded Parmesan cheese, and a tapenade made from artichoke hearts, hearts of palm, garlic, green olives, kalamata olives, chili, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I personally loved it, I thought all of the flavors blended well together. Now my husband was not a big fan of a lot of the flavors in the tapenade, but he too thought it all paired well with the beef. This one still gets two thumbs up from both the husband and I!

Suddenly, he felt a burning sensation on the back of his head. Turning, he laid eyes on her at last. As if summoned by his thoughts, there his Amphitrite stood. Her dark hair streamed behind her in the warm see breeze, her gorgeous curves wrapped in traditional and colorful Indian clothes. She was even lovelier than he remembered. However, despite her alluring looks, her dark onyx eyes caught his attention, and the heated glare they were sending his way at the moment. “Poseidon. What are you doing here? How did you find me?” Walking toward her, the water glistened on his tall and toned body, shaking droplets from his longish hair, emphasizing his more than abundant physical traits for her viewing pleasure. Despite the anger in Amphitrite’s eyes, she looked him up and down, appreciating his body. “Come on, Amphitrite. We haven’t seen each other in over two thousand years. Must you start out so hostile? Aren’t you the least bit happy to see me? At least a little curious?” He stopped in front of her, wanting to reach out and pull her into his arms, but using all the restraint he had in him not to so he didn’t piss her off even more. “I have not gone by that name for millennia, I am Syra now and barely remember what it was to be Amphitrite. I live a simple and happy life. I do not welcome anything or anyone here to disrupt that. Now, I repeat, what do you want, Poseidon, and how did you find me after all this time?” Time for another movie review! I will admit that my husband and I were pretty excited to see The Lost City of Z after seeing the trailer. It looked exciting, full of adventure, had a good cast, and was based on a true story. Maybe we had set our expectations too high. Way too high. The movie is very slow moving, a lot of it could have been cut, the main character is just not that likable, and well lets just day that the ending is a bit of a let down. Okay, the hubby would say that it was a total let down. This is one of the movies that we have seen recently that I might just suggest you skip. It is just way too long and way too short on story line. Yep, it's already time for another Bob's Burgers Cookbook burger review! This one was called the Bruschetta About It Burger! A yummy bruschetta mixture of basil, tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, and balsamic reduction on top of a mozzarella cheese burger served on French bread! Pretty darn yummy, though a bit too bready. I think that next time I mix this I will use buns, something smaller and will allow the burger and bruschetta to shine. Still, it got two thumbs up from both the husband and I! Still not a bad burger in the book yet! <a> I am so happy to have finally be making some more time for art in my life. Here are a few pieces that I have been working on this week, as you can see I have been on an Egyptian mythology kick. I feel so much better when I have time for art, it just soothes my soul in a time when I certainly need some calming activities. As always, my art is for sale, so if you see something that you like send me a message! My prices are super reasonable! And keep an eye out for more mythological art coming soon! I do take requests and commissions!

Link: http://a.co/4iXEDu4 Poseidon, God of the Oceans, only fears one woman in the entire world – his estranged wife.
Recent events have brought the importance of family to light for the god of the seas, Poseidon. Someone terrible is after the gods and he will do whatever it takes to save his family. But first that means he must track down and mend old wounds with Amphitrite, his estranged wife. He would give anything to bring her back into his life, but the woman had not spoken to him in over 2000 years. Unfortunately time for seduction is limited when their daughter is taken. Can Poseidon band together with other gods to not only save his daughter, but the gods in general? Will his newfound willingness to work with others be enough to prove to Amphitrite that he is a changed man? This past weekend the hubby and I continued to cook our way through the Bob's Burgers Cookbook, this time with the Final Kraut Down Burger. This burger had Swiss cheese, caramelized onions mixed with sauerkraut, and topped with mustard. Pretty yummy as long as you like sauerkraut which we do! Not our favorite since some of the previous ones are hard to top, but still two thumbs up from both my husband and myself!
